My favorite group of all time.

Big is an ELITE mc. I could post dozens of songs showing that. Hes a spitter who usually chooses off kilter cadences for the fukk of it. Hes crazy creative. People comparing Havoc to Big are smoking high quality dope. Hav (who i like) cant fukk with Big on his worst day.

Dre is an Elite mc. Where Dre shines is his voice and using space. His voice stands out. Thats not a skill thats a gift from God like Scarface, Snoop, Rakim etc. Some people just have a tone or something to their voice that makes you listen. Dre usually uses space....he often lets the beat breathe within bars which makea it easier to understand his verses (Jay does this too) and draws attention to certain words.


They both usually come at verses from an odd angle...hence Outkast being their name.


In real time....day one fans of Kast thought they both were dope and enjoyed the music. When Dre went on that remix run murdering everything thats when i start hearing Dre was better.


So better MC to me...its a toss up and i can go song by song. The BIGGER STAR and I think thats what people really talking about is DRE. His skill, clothing choices, chicks he was fukking, reclusiveness, and weirdness (really anxiety but...) all lends to him being the bigger star.

He’s earned it with his verses on every Kast album. It only makes the nikkas with daddy issues uncomfortable, or those weirdo’s that piss their panties because they don’t have some kind of ownership of an artist’s path in life.

A verse is a verse, whether on a group project or a solo, and not many are able to do what big and Dre have been able to do with their own verses. I’m not if either one is anybody’s top 10 because they belong there.

There's a reason why I said what I said. Having Dre as the lone Southern rapper in your top 10 list of rappers says a lot, unless you are willing to explain in depth why he should take that slot over others from the region
