i don't sell content through vimeo+paypal, but depending on the settings he might be seeing as little as $13 from a $20 transaction

depending on price point, you see as little as 30cents off a dollar at amazon

selling information products is a good hustle-
you can make 'em yourself, and keep selling that content without ever going out of stock
but the middle man (vimeo, amazon, ebay, paypal and anyone else) is gonna get their cut
then you have to deal with returns, complaints, and the threat of middle man pulling the plug on you
it ain't easy

as far as "we gotta stick together" hustling, i have no problems but i get a ton of business cards
i put them all in an old 1.44 floppy disk container
the one time i needed a cleaning service
called the number but it was disconnected

as for as this tariq character, i watched (well, listened) to a total of 2-3 hours of his content
i am always curious about what gets popular etc
to mehe had a little appeal but was trying to be a geraldo rivera or morton downey jr type
and i can't stomach too much of that shyt
but i see where others might enjoy it

anyone wanting serious information??
please consider if this guy is legitimate authority on race topics
or an aspiring public speaker trying to find subject material

i mean i can be a pretty slick public speaker
i once delivered a well-received 50 minute talk
literally i knew nothing of the subject matter
except for a 2 minute briefing in the parking lot before walking into the room
20 minutes later i was talking at the lectern
literally 99% of the people in the room knew more than me
but i had 75% of them looking up to me as their daddy
i can tell more storis like that
one time for fukkery, with no wanring whatsoever
(this was at a function for my larger fraternal group)
a friend introduced me as the speakr and even gave the title of my imaginary speech
i was literally thinking of what to say as i was walking up to the stage
multiple people said it was one of their favorite speeches ever
and my frien and i were like as we shook hands after the talk
basically if i can do it,
there's plenty more out there capable of the same shenanigans
so be alert

every 5-10 minutes or so
pause to ask "have i learned anything?? can what i am hearing be verified?? can i act on any of this information??" etc
because someone can be entertaining but saying nothing of substance
i mean, nothing is wrong with entertainment or motivational content
it is okay to watch a motivational video before working out
or play a "wake up song" to get pumped etc
but do it in small doses and keep it moving

Why rent, you're better of just buying his speeches. That being said funding the struggle is difficult, and while I take all these hoteps with a grain of salt, I will say Tariq, imo, does put his money where his is, and I respect that. He has also dipped into his own pockets for causes concerning Black people, so I feel like he's dong what he can to stay afloat.

That's how athletes get into trouble. They always want to invest in tangibles: restaurants, nightclubs, real estate, gadgets. Things that are easy to lose money on. If an athlete would simply pay cash for his house, live on half of his paycheck, and invest the other half in 3 or 4 low-turnover mutual funds, he would have money for the rest of his life.
