Sly refuses to listen to reason on most things, he just does it in a nicer way. There's not much for him to argue anyways, the current GOP is filth and has been for some time.

Colin Powell is a Republican. I've never had anything against him either prior to selling us that Iraq War. But then again, he supported Affirmative Action always. There's plenty of room to kick it with people of opposing views as long as they don't support the radical parts of that party. Personally, I've always found that figuring out how people like that think is how you defeat their arguments anyway.

i'm just some normal humble dude trying to make my life better and hoping to have a modicum of success in life and along the way adapting and learning from my mistakes and thankful to be relatively young and healthy with all the opportunity in the world if i properly apply myself ...ultimately thats what all of us on here are i find most posters here intelligent and we are all masters of our own destiny regardless of who is president...
i've learned this politics stuff is similar to sports people invest their emotions but for the most part doesn't directly affect them most of the time,most politicians ultimately want to do a good job and will usually not rock the boat too much in either direction and we've had the same mostly capitalistic system for decades
I just want the meltdowns on msnbc and to see the upset and to have bragging rights for a few weeks ...regardless of who wins i'm still going to try to do my thing and this is still the greatest country in the world with the most opportunity even if Obama is re-elected

Yes, in fact I have plenty of friends with different ethnicities, political beliefs, and economic statuses and I don't find it strange at all. Just because I believe something or advocate it doesn't make it objectively right. You don't have to like or hate someone based on that shyt.
