On the last SmackDown (it's fresh to me since I just watched it), there was a kid with a green Cena shirt "doing the Brogue."
It is clear they've been trying to push Sheamus as another Cena, and sadly, it's been working.

Slight difference, hes better in the ring...but then again little girls dont cheer when he takes his shirt off either, which is about all Cena has going for him.

Because he always sucked so the expectations weren't set high to begin with. With Cena people expected him to carry the torch but instead he took it.. looked back.. and hit'em with the 
face.

1) Sheamus doesn't pander and seemingly beg to be loved with self-deprecation the way Cena does. Dude says corny shyt...but he makes it believable that...well...that he's just a big corny Irish cat with a mean streak.
2) Like DBG said...as corny as he may be, he's actually pretty impressive in the ring for a big man that works his kind of style. He's not cheesy in the ring and every so often, he pulls out a hard-hitting, brutal match like the 2/3 falls match with D-Bryan or his recent matches on Raw with Wade Barrett.
3) He actually tries to incorporate new shyt. Dude has multiple finishers and signatures...and it doesn't come across as forced when he pulls new moves out.
A lot of people feel that Cena's a stiff/unimpressive as a wrestler and smarks let him know that...which leads to Cena doing things like this to prove a point....
Cena's been spending a long time trying to get the respect of the smarks and fans that side with the Rock, yet they're still going to go
"fukk you, you corny b*stard. You still suck and you're not The Rock." He also shows that it bothers him...but then does some weak shyt to make it worst for him.
4) Cena going over Lesnar in a main event that doesn't involve the the internet darling champ. Cena main-eventing Wrestlemania against the Rock...in a match not involving the WWE title. Sheamus isn't really taking away too many peoples' shine like that.

King Sheamus was a Good Heel, not like King Booker but Entertaining. Could have been more Entertaining if he wasn't Jobbing to H for the Title.

I hate Faces that need Approval of Fans and say things to get Rises out of the Crowd. Looking Left & Right for the Crowd to Cheer them, I know that a lot of Faces do that but some of them have Entertaining Promos but Shame is really Horrible on the Mic and I really wish that he'd STOP doing that Shoulder Block from the Apron to the Inside of the Ring & lifting himself up with the Turnbuckle like he's HBK.
