I think its because John Cena had a complete gimmick change in 2005 going from an "Eminem" clone that all the wiggers around the world could relate to selling his soul to Vince by trading in his throwback jerseys and catchy raps for "chain gang apparel" and being extra corny with the WWE title.


but if you want the facts, he got exposed the summer of 2005 when Jericho and Kurt Angle ran circles around him at "Summerslam" and "Unforgiven" and he still won with his 5 moves of doom

Yeah, the main difference is the guys he's feuding with.

Cena started to get booed badly once Christian, Jericho and Angle (all hardcore fans favorites) went after him.

Fella got booed when he went against D-Bry and that 18 seconds BS happened. But WWE was smart and ended that as quick as possible. Since then he's been feuding with guys most people find irrelevant or just aren't that popular.

But yeah, when you're facing guys that no one particularly cares about, you can kinda get away with it. For now at least.

I could see people turning on him if Orton turns heel and feuds with him, as expected.

The bolded is a MAJOR issue for any wrestler not named big show or ryback. He kicks out at one 10 minutes in to the match after being beat for 9 minutes. shyt is terrible.
