he's the highest paid wrestler on the roster the least he could do is show up at least every other week or even just a simple promo via satellite with Heyman doing all the talking

then in his matches he doesn't even wrestle anymore he just spams suplexes like a little kid playing a wwe video game

I'm a Lesnar fan but c'mon bruh :stopitslime:
He's already getting paid millions doing what he is doing already by putting in minimal effort...

shyt he's living the fukking dream:ohlawd:

I’d understand all of that if you never put the belt on him. They never put the belt on Andre for a reason.

why do you want to see the belt every week? is there a valid logical reason? if anything, the belt can get overexposed to and lose value... super bowl is played once a year for a reason, the world title should NOT be defended on every single pay per view, that's way too much. If anything, the IC and US belt should be the main brand belts that are defended every pay per view and used as a stepping stone title for a guy to face the world champ at one of the big 5 ....I would have the world title defended at Rumble, Mania, MITB, Summerslam, Suvirvor Series.... only 5x a year...I would have the IC belt be the "raw world title" and the US belt be the "Smackdown world title" and that would be the brands premier title....

again, give me a logical reason why you want to see the world title defended at every single pay per view... there is no reason...or why it has to be seen on raw every single week

What logical reason is there to have entire raw episodes exist without the name ‘Brock Lesnar’ or the ‘Universal Title’ being mentioned? I remember last year Raw literally went months without Brock’s name uttered. How can you present something as the end all, be all in sports entertainment, but not mention it? The show is going on without him or the universal title. If there’s a pay per view and the champ couldn’t be assed to show up, why have the PPV? Why should the fans watch? He’s an attraction, use him like it.

They did it just fine from Raws inception until they started doing it with Brock. The problem is that they present nothing as meaningful or worth tuning into. Same problem with them sabotaging everything to prop up Roman the past few years. It doesn’t make that one thing that doesn’t get hacked up special. It just means there’s less good stuff on a show. When you go a few months without mentioning your top champ or the title he holds on a brand, it devalues it by the fact that he vanishes for 3-4 months at a time and only defends the belt every 3-4 months. How valuable is something that isn’t even talked about for months at a time? When Brock retained the title by a DQ loss at night of champions 2014 and wasn’t on tv again for 4 months, how did that help the title? When Brock vanishes for 3-4 months in the spring and summer and the whole show has no main event scene, how does that help? The problem is that this company overexposes every wrestler and every feud in record time to the point that fans don’t want it anymore. The premise of the title itself being overexposed has never been an issue. It’s rarely ever defended on free tv anyway.

The issue is him having the belt
Correct. It also allows them to book Brock even lazier. It’s been 3+ years now since he was in a feud where there was anything of material in it for him beyond “Brock is a big scary obstacle for someone to overcome”

A lot of you don't realize less is more with Brock, it's actually one of the few things WWE has handled correctly.

The reason we all #NWG is because it's over exposure, we see the same guys doing the same sh*t with the same matches and the same promos for 3 hours every week, no off-season, no breaks, so we lose interest, we stop caring, it's not "special" anymore...

Lesnar is an attraction similar to how Hogan and Andre were booked in the 80s, he shows up once in a blue and in theory, it's supposed to "feel special", as it does when Part timers return...in fact, some of ya'll already complaining his promos with Heyman are the same sh*t over and over and too repetitive, so again, why are we clamoring for that every week again?

it makes zero sense to me why someone who is like "WWE has the same sh*t every week" is now complaining because Lesnar is not overexposed too.... Would you prefer Lesnar there every week wrestling non-title matches against Finn Balor? I don't,that's definitely not for me. I prefer 80s style special event attractions personally,

less is more people, that's Ronda and Nakamura's problem too is they have been overexposed and now we don't care any more....if it were me, I'd have all the main eventers go away and get off my screen for a little bit to freshen up their characters and get the most mileage out of them physically and interest wise from my customer base. The ONE GUY they do that for and you guys are b*tching because you do not understand business and making the audience miss something

Business-wise, he has them over a barrel.

When they brought him on the limited date thing with the money they were paying him to be a special attraction, he was exactly that. And on a lot of levels, he worked as one. He showed up, wrecked shop and it was a big deal when he was there. Even that first run with the belt, it changed the complexion of the show when he was there, and when there was a build to a title defense, in theory, it made it hotter because you knew he'd have to show up, and when he did he was throwing car doors into the audience and wailing on shyt with an ax.

The problem is, that contract re-up. You can't properly negotiate with someone who doesn't give a fukk. You ever try that shyt? Picture them arguing that they either want to pay less or get more dates out of Brock, and he just blank-stares and says he's fine going back to his ranch if it's gonna be like that. Especially when you have UFC sniffing around for at least one more fight. And it's gone on so long, that... how do you get out of that? It either had to be Roman or Strowman to beat him or the last few years of letting him wreck half the roster and barely be there is wasted, but... we know how both those situations are going.

So yeah. He has all the negotiation power. He has a situation where, if they don't pay him equivalent to previous years for the same amount of dates, even with his waning interest, then he'll dip. So, either you let all that work walk out the door, or you keep going hoping something changes.

Bryan shoulda beat him, honestly. It gives a halfway rub to Bryan's whole situation, and then you can let Drew beat Brock, take the title, and it's not a complete loss.
