Why does James Harden shoot so poorly in the playoffs?

Redd was at least a great shooter and Joe Johnson got way more to his game than Hardenn. And a better hairline.

The regular season numbers are similar is all I mean. People were elevating 'Flopter to God SG status, when really he looks raggedy at times based on the eye test, and similar to other also-rans based on the numbers.

That said, this underperformance is surprising, even given my low opinion of dude's game.

It's simple...he's not a true #1 option. He plays terrible defense, and if the opposing defense is locked in on him he's trash unless he's getting calls. This is all highlighted in the playoffs where people really begin to play defense.
