Dont let me direct a franchise, I would be Don Cheadle'ing nikkas left and right
Batman actor: I want a raise
me: hmmmm
*Next movie*
"Oh my god joker splashed batman with acid, now he looks like low budget actor " dre" from Power "
I don't like it either but I'd like it less if a dope story got canceled over an actor leaving or passing away IRL. A lot of folks didn't like Andy's replacement on Spartacus but we got an extra season and a GOAT tribute to the actor cause it got to continue and finish.
Only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the 2nd Becky on Roseanne and the 2nd Sarah on Parenthood.Well it usually sucks... Look at what GOT did to Straight to DVDario..
They recast Aunt Viv but nobody ever puts the new one over the old one. You say Aunt Viv and people immediately think about dark skin Aunt Viv.
In fact, I can't think of any recasting that ever made the show better. Usually they are worse and it's not confusing, it just takes you out of the make believe, and ruins the show anyway
I remember the Becky change.. I really can't call it. I remember the first one being a lot more sassy and funny. Her and David was better matched to me too.. But I'll admit, either the show fell off or I fell off watching it shortly after new Becky. That's kinda what I mean. You bring in someone completely different and I kinda already lose interest. I'd say Fresh Prince is the only one I kept watching. I could name other shows but they were minor characters. I mean with like the top 5 characters in a show.Only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the 2nd Becky on Roseanne and the 2nd Sarah on Parenthood.
They made it a selling point of the show and they get untold amounts of hype from the speculation of who will be cast as the next Doctor and then the interest in seeing how different the new actor is from the previous ones.Did Doctor Who lowkey made a system on having their main character being constantly recast every couple of years be a good thing with the "regeneration"aspect?
Altered carbon is on this wave tooDid Doctor Who lowkey made a system on having their main character being constantly recast every couple of years be a good thing with the "regeneration"aspect?
