She's just the start, soon hip hop will be overrun by white female rappers
I see. Tbh im just going off the stuff ive read about her cuz again ive never heard 1 song.refer
was referring to the idea of the thread that she is in blackface. She raps like a ratchet ass chick. Don't have to be black to be ratchet.
I always thought she should just be real and rap in her real accent. I guess she's just trying to fit in.
But I think there is a comparison right now between rock and roll and rap. I think rap is on the decline like rock was by the 80's. It started in the 50's and 60's being something very creative and amazing and by the late 80's it was a joke and no one took it seriously.
So I think rap has peaked and is on a decline now, like rock was towards the end. History repeats itself. By the early 90's no one was fukking with rock any more.
She makes money for the right people so all is forgiven.
Plus it appears she got next so
Lol I think it's the other way aroundBlack women wanna look like her though...
I hate to support Eminem as I'm no real fan of him either....but these are different situations really.
Iggy literally changes her accent to rap. She's appropriating a culture she only ever saw on tv. An Australian has no business in the sphere that she's in.
She's about as manufactured as I've seen an artist in some time.
I'm not an ultra "credibility in music" guy but she's blatantly commercial.

I don't see her darkening her skin tone, wearing an afro weave, or adding more nose to her existing one. A big ole a$$ was never exclusive to our people.Lol I think it's the other way around
