Why does Godzilla '98 get so much hate?

I'm watching all the G flicks and just saw this one. I gotta say that I liked it as a kid and watching it as an adult it was enjoyable.

Now I'm at why it gets hate. I think G got more screen time in this one then in the new flick.

This Zilla was more strategic and smart. They made this one a little vulnerable though since he was taken out with missles. My only complaint was he didn't run through buildings.

And who cares about the look. A lot of shyt evolves.
