Why does Batllefield 2042 look like a 360 game?

Deleting the settings files in Documents/BF 2042 massively improved the visuals. It was a blurry mess before that. Game looks great now.

I was on Xbox but will put it on PC this evening to see if there is a difference. Didn't want to mess with PC (I've been slowly getting away from PC gaming, even though I used to be one of those "Master Race" type of people) being that the beta ends tomorrow. Good look

It looks like a standard PS4/XB1 game. They sacrificed graphics for framerate since there's such a large amount of players that can play at once

So, maybe I exaggerated with the 360 comparisons but yes, this is what I was saying, essentially.

It looks worse than BFV (I'm on PC) but it's beta so I'm gonna wait to see it optimized before judging

Looks very good running on my ps5 and 4k tv.

They been pushing 4k since PS4 Pro and Xbox One S...that was YEARS ago (5, to be exact). I KNOW that next-gen should be innovative and it's clearly not

Innovative in what way? For me in battlefield I would want more players the entire map destructible(maybe not roads) bullet penetration through anything if you have strong enough bullets. That’s all I can think of atm. Other games it’ll vary for me depending on what the game is

Levolution in that city map would just freeze my ps3

shyt doesn’t look better than BF1/BFV to me. BF1 was so atmospheric to me that shyt was lightning in a bottle. People slept cause of the time frame it was based on.

Siege of Shanghai is fire but when that building falls.

I’d filter it out and avoid it like the plague. My PC would strugggggggggle playing that map.
