I like basketball and the NBA is the premier basketball league. So I watch but that doesn’t mean I don’t have problems with the product. I married my wife doesn’t mean she’s perfect and we don’t have problems.
This is a false equivalency.
You still love your wife, do you not? Otherwise, you'd get a divorce, would you not? These nxggas on here don't love the NBA. They openly hate it. That's the difference.
How about you be honest and admit you just don’t like that people complain about all the three pointers and style of play because they blame the warriors for the current NBA. You’re not defending the NBA because lord knows you shyt on players and coaches all the time. This crusade is simply your usual defense of Steph and the Warriors legacy.
Being critical of players and coaches is not even remotely the same as shytting on the NBA product and longing for the past (which isn't going to return). Nobody is beyond criticism. The NBA isn't beyond criticism. I don't think that the league as it now stands is perfect. But the utmost majority of criticisms around the league are hypocritical, lack context, half-baked ass analysis or based upon straight up bullshyt.
You had active players during the 90s who said the NBA was diluted, yet according to cats on here that was the golden era.
You see my problem?
Cats are not honest with themselves.
They tell themselves a story when reality says otherwise.
They tells themselves the ratings are down, but NBA is more popular than it's ever been. That's not me defending the NBA, that's purely stating a fact about it.
They tell themselves that every team plays the same and it's boring, but the NBA has always had periods where teams played 'the same' because it reflects the trends of play at that moment in time. That's not me defending the NBA, that's purely stating a fact about it.
Why would anyone cry and complain as much as folks do on this board about something that they can easily stop watching?
