Why do you post on The Coli?

The reason I post was because of the coliseum and the basketball threads. I am a huge bball fan and to see the nonsense people say, as well as deep insightful thoughts on players, team or the sport, it kinda reminds me of high school, where nikkas would spend hours just debating. I guess it is the same as the other sections. So much crap and insight, but

As a student, I have ALOT of time on my hands. I first started coming on message boards to lurk and observe different types of people (here I observe mostly black men, on city-data, I observe racial interactions and comments, and etc.). Also, forums give me the opportunity to talk to everyday people who aren't always so serious (I am surrounded by academics). More than anything, it's about killing time. For instance, I have a 1:40 appointment and I have nothing else to do at this very second (and most irl people are at work or school).

I can laugh about shyt on here that my real life cronies wouldn't find funny.... I really feel like the comedic aspect of the Coli's commentary on all things makes it appealing. People think I am either really weird or they think I am hilarious if I bring up something funny that I stole from a coli brehs...

Because of the variety

Coli has so many different personalities on here and people from everywhere it's cool to get see how people ion other regions live and plus this is one of the few sites that there are ton of ladies posting on the board
