Whatever the Race, if you are raised around that kind of environment you tend to end up repeating the same thing (i.e. welfare,social programs). Some people were raised to live off the freebies and not aspire to do anything except maintain the status quo. I do not agree with this but I was not raised that way so I can not relate.

I'm not a black woman so I wouldn't know. BTW, I don't think it's a black woman thing, I think it's a woman thing. How many women do you know that are 100% independent and are not relying on their family, ailmony, child support or some gender equity policy to supplement their income? I'll take it a step further, the only reason why a lot of white women aren't seen as welfare abusers is because they're still dependent on their white husbands which oddly isn't considered a form of social assistance by some peoples standards .

1 star and possibly neg rep. The idea of the "welfare queen" is a fukkin myth. Welfare is embarassing and its incredibly difficult to live off it. This is the kind of bullshyt white politicians tell people to take the heat off them. "You're poor because lazy black people are using welfare"

That bolded part is false. The percentage of the total black population that receives welfare is greater than the percentage of the white population that receives welfare.

Still, white people do constitute the highest percentage of welfare recipients in general.
