Eh, only in part.Being over weight is a choice. Im thankful I had people fat shame me because that's what I needed and motivate me to lose weight. Heart disease is the #1 killer in our community
You're saying this as if it's wrong when women got much harsher preferences including the fat ones.
Good godIt's funny cause the average waist of an American male is over 40 inches
Lol. I don’t hate fat people but growing up in my family we all agreed that there are two conditions where we want to be smothered in our sleep:
1. If we end up maimed up and ugly from a car crash or Pitt bull.
2. If we get fat.
So being ugly or fat were seen as low quality of life conditions.
That being said I don’t hate fat people, I just don’t want to be fat. I feel sorry for them, I once watched a morbidly obese guy try to get out of a small car and it was so sad watching him try to maneuver his way out. It looked painful, embarrassing and hard.
This is basically what I’m getting at when I mention the unfair treatment that fat people have to deal with. A lot of fat people are the way that they are because of the way that they were raised. The foods they were fed as children. The relationship that they developed with food from watching their parents. Its really more about socialization than people not having control over how much food they consume. People just shyt all over fat people based on their own preconceived notions of fatness. Its fatphobia plain and simple.Eh, only in part.
Weight gain is controlled by a number of factors - plenty of people cut calories and increase exercise but don't necessarily lose a substantial amount of weight.
Everything from environmental and biological factors, to food access, to forms of exercise can make a difference.
But pretending like being fat is just a matter of sedentary lifestyle and eating habits is absurd.
Who are you letting push your to accept fat women?Because black men are being pretty much pushed to accept fat women.

Was MLK lazy? He was fat. Was the Notorious BIG lazy? He was fat. Is Oprah lazy? She’s fat. You have to stop saying these things because you sound ignorant.99% of fat people are lazy though.

Y’all really letting those people influence y’all because if so……….We already had this conversation (it comes up every few months) as to why BW don't exercise more.
Unless dude is PAWGset exclusively, it'd be the same people pushing for fat acceptance.
Whenever I used to work in an office, I was surrounded by fat people. They were so nice to me. There was a fat woman who sat near my cubicle who had a desk full of exotic candies, and she'd always make sure to offer me a few pieces. We developed a deeper bond over our mutual love of doo-wop jazz music and scat. One of my Walmart shopping buddies is 450 pounds, but he always has the 411 on the best deals for those Walmart items. Even my masseuse is wheelchair-bound, but she gives me the best rubdowns. Fat people are so warm, and cuddly. Their bodies have a natural softness that feels good to touch. I notice fat women often have very beautiful feet. They literally don't bother anyone, and yet they receive so much hate. Especially here on thecoli.com. Why is that? Care to shed some light on your bigotry?
