Why do y’all think The Northman flopped?

On a budget of $70–90 million it only made $68.9 million. Great action, good acting, beautifully shot. What went wrong?

Was boring story execution and the good acting is subjective .

Advertised as an action movie but it really wasn’t. Also Skarsgaard is the most overrated actor, dude is the Anthony Mackie of cac actors. Looks the part but is boring as fukk and is not good at conveying emotion
