Film was well polished garbage.
Had it not been so visually stunning, it would be been forgotten.

Main problem was that (beside casting too many non actors)...it lifted scenes from classic films that the audience watches all the time. Cringe worthy copying scenes almost shot for shot

The Lennox shoot out scene was half Carlito's Way shootout/half Scarface shoot out

Tommy approaching Lennox about drugs was exactly..like Priest asking Scatter for the connection in Superfly

5-7 other blatant copycatting scenes.

And yeah who in here has hated on the way Belly looks? we've had discussions on what the movie is about and the acting and all that, but not a single person has said its an ugly movie. Well one person knocked one scene but its one scene out of like 200 or something.

the only issue was hype aint know how expensive lighting really was. spent up the whole budget and they didnt have good lighting.

thats why all the interior scenes, you see every single lamp in the room is on, but them shyts like 100 watts max. you need real LIGHTS for a movie.

either way, belly is goat level shyt.
