Why do we give Bron extra credit for his teammates underperfoming and being injured?

whether OKC beat the warriors or not last year, anything short of a championship and KD was still walking. I think his departure from OKC had more to do with the an offense that relied too heavily on iso, a roster with no shooters, and no creators outside of himself and russ. wait, come to think of it, that same OKC roster sans KD was trash and all anybody in the 'seum talked about was how russ needed more help, but KD should've taking that same shytty team with the same shytty unimaginative offense to multiple championships??

So answer the question. If Miami beats Boston but loses to Chicago in 2011 is the season a failure?
If Miami beats Boston, it's upward improvement for both Bron and the Heat franchise. If they then lost to the best seeded team in the conference, then the next season's goal would've been to be the best in conf and make the championship certainly. Essentially what I'm saying is losing to Chicago wouldn't have been a huge L compared to losing to Boston for the 9000Th time. It would've been extremely magnified if they built this and lost to Boston again. Which is why the game 6 will always be his most important game regardless of what he does going forward

On paper it looks nice but I don't know if a 41 year old Karl Malone and 35 year old Gary Payton equates to a superteam :patrice:

Karl Malone was literally in the stands watching Kobe play during games hollerin' at Kobe's wife, yet supposedly he was part of a superteam, Bron stans grasping at straws :mjlol:

Again...the shyt didn't work out. Maybe yall brehs are young, but I remember PTI and a bunch of shows were saying the Lakers were going to break the 96 Bulls record. Bottom line is they added two guys who averaged 20/8 the year before.

Tayshaun Prince, Detroit Pistons forward, 2002-2013, 2015-present:When it happened, my first reaction was, "We’re pretty much handing them the title right now." Obviously, we didn’t know at that point how good we could be. We didn’t have Rasheed [Wallace] yet and we didn’t make the trades to make us a better team. So at that point, we definitely felt like they were the front-runners.

I'm not the one discrediting LeBron for everything he's accoplished.

:hubie:

If you checked my posting history, I've said I have lbj ranked 2nd all-time behind MJ, merely based on what he was able to do last year to an all-time gsw team. I got LBJ ranked ahead of any player on the Heat, ahead of any all-time Lakers player, ahead of any all-time Celtics player and yet I'm the biased one with sour grapes?

:mjlol:

It's LBJ stans who get angry at any slight towards LBJ. It's you LBJ stans who want to proclaim LBJ top5, but don't want to give his opposing players credit or beating him.

I personally think lbj is 2nd all time behind MJ, THUS if KD beats him, KD's star should rise and KD should move up in the rankings. I'm the unbiased one in this argument. I gave LBJ credit for winning in miami, I have LBJ credit in 2015 for going 6 games against GSW and I said he was top 3 just based on that.

Then I said he was 2nd behind MJ just based on being able to beat a 73win GSW team last year.

BUT anything less than "LBJ is the GOAT and KD is a hoe" is perceived as a slight towards LBJ in the eyes of his rabid stans. They want LBJ to be regarded as the GOAT, while simultaneously discrediting any player or team who's able to beat the GOAT. They wanna play it both ways.

Difference between me and you is, I don't play narratives. When LBJ won last year, he WON!! I didn't create any narratives to discredit him coming back from 3-1. He did it, and I proclaimed him 2nd to MJ.

On the flipside, KD is currently putting up GOAT numbers so far in this finals, and all LBJ stans can do is cry about how much of a hoe they think KD is for joining the enemy. Pathetic.....

:francis:

And you're right I am a heat fan, but warriors stans are slightly more tolerable than LBJ stans have been since last year. Lbj fans hated on curry for no reason, hated on for no reason, hated on Westbrook for no reason, they hate on any potential mvp candidate not named LBJ. Any player who's star is rising, will get hate. No different from Kobe stans this point.

Lebron is no whear near the 2nd best player of all time

Jordan is a media and league chosen god

And KD made the best move.

The clippers did not have the money

Wizards are his hometown he doesn't want to be bothered by people asking for favors

Spurs would have limited him look at their last few signings

We get to see KD play with actual players with illusions of grandeur

KD has it all all he needs now is a ring
Before the foot injury he was on pace to be the all time scorer
