Why do we care about Israel?

A lot of our support is just due to ignorance. A lot of Christians, who make up the bulk of the country believe they have to support Israel due to bible prophercy, and what not. What most American's, and politicans don't know is that there's a large population of Palenstians who are Christians. Before the British left what was then Palestine before their mandate ended, they conducted a census which concluded that around 40 percent of the population in Palestine were Christians. But the public, and politicans frame the debate vis-a-vis Muslim terrorists versus Jews, and Israel is small, so we can't have a two state solution, and they can't allow refuges to return, because that would change the demographics of the state, and make it not Jewish anymore.

Semitic languages are part of the Afro-Asiatic family of languages. They originated out of East Africa, spread to North Africa, and across the Red Sea into the Arabian penisula, and then further north into what is now Syria, and Iraq. The truth is there are more African Semites in East Africa then there are Jews in the whole world. There's a few hundred million Arab Semites in the world, compared to just 12 million Jewish Semites. If you really want to be technical, Jews aren't even Semites, since they speak Hebrew, which is based off Yiddish, which was a German dialect; mixed with Arabic.

If I had to choose between cutting off support for Israel and cutting off support for Saudi Arabia, I'd pick Israel in a heart beat. And you guys know how I feel about the Saudis and Islam.
At least we get something tangible back from the Saudis. All we get from Israel is spying and firing on our military ships.

Just like there are lobbyest to ensure that alcohol stays legal, that cigs stay legal, that guns remain abundant so children can die (NRA's favorite pastime is to watch children die), there are lobbyest to ensure that USA has Isreal's back. Its pretty much that simple. Also, american Jews by in large are the richest people in america and money talks. I'm not knocking on Jews for being rich, what i am saying is that all that their money finds its way into political decisions.

This is evident by representation in high offices and representation in entertainment as well. They are very educated, wealthy and connected people who look out for the tribe.
It becomes clear the power they hold when a group representing 2% of the population is almost half the supreme court, most of our financial chairs, and a large chunk of our Federal Reserve members.

And they own lot of the media or directly influence the media with their money. But, at the same time, in the jew's defense they have also been instrumental in advancing medicine and technologies. So we do benefit from their discoveries. It is still disappointing that 2% of the american population can make the USA implement policies in the middle east that pisses off the whole world. And we are the ones that end up suffering - not the jews. We are the ones that die in the wars to implement their policies, while the american jew stays out of it all by going to school, etc. That is the part that bothers me the most. We have to die for Isreal while the american jew sits on the sidelines and watches.
