Funny dudes like the OP never post a travel guide or trip report from their travels to Africa, it's always some fake militant dap fishing bs.
The Afro Latin America example is silly cause there is a lot of Black people there still. There is more Black people in say Brazil, Colombia and DR than there is in Miami or NYC or Seattle etc.
My only issue is when people go to those countries and only be around the white natives there.
Everything else about Europe though I agree with. I have no desire to go to Europe at all. People just wanna go to shop at fancy places to stunt on people and stare at a big giant clock or one giant tower. A lot of times these be the same people too with no knowledge of Black culture in America

I am just guessing, but perhaps Black people from the States like travelling to countries that have similar amenities available to them as they have at home?
Meaning, they want to go to places that have suitable transportation, restaurants, attractions and lodging with shyt like a comfy bed and bathroom?
That isn't to say that places and countries outside the ones you have mentioned don't have these things, but there are levels to it..
Then factor in that some countries require visas whereas others don't require visas and some people may not want to go through the hassle of obtaining one.
But, at the end of the day, people like to go where they want to go. Not everyone will have the desire to travel to countries that may be considered less developed, but I do think that the more people travel, the more their mind will open to go to other countries that may not be on par as the States.

As a Nigerian, I can understand why my fellow AA Brother would prefer to go to Paris or London before going to Accra or Nairobi. The 1st two cities are well travelled and documented. It's an easier transition from US to France/UK than US to Ghana/Kenya.

similar to owning a luxury car it's considered a "one-up"
harder to travel to some countries in Africa, they may not have the same standard as living as western europe which is closer or similar to the U.S.

I'm planning a trip to London right now and I'm going to come out $1,200 at the least.
Breh, I'm going to London in October and the minimal will cost me around $1,200 for the whole trip.
Majority of ADOS don't have a disposable $1,200 to just travel like that breh.

That is the next evolution for many African nations. Many of them are still working on basic infrastructure stuff (paving/fixing existing roads and modernizing electrical grids).
I honestly think that these DNA test results that African Americans have been getting is going to spur a boom in international travel to West Africa. I hope that business owners and tourism boards can capitalize on it.
