Why is your personal opinion of attractiveness the standard. You don't think she's a beauty, congrats, there are others who do.

that's not the issue. if people were being genuine i'd think different strokes for different folks or whatever. In this case however you can smell the BS. some people are sincere but some are just saying it because it's "the right thing to say".
