Why do some people say Rock wasn't all that in the ring?

He wasn't the most technical, but he knew how to make it entertaining and get the crowd invested and those are the most important aspects if you can do that consistently you are good money

Cause nerds think flips, spots and a bazillion holds is better than being entertaining as fukk and telling a great story :sas2:

Yeap... that's basically their whole reason. They think everybody that isn't wrestling that style "isn't a good wrestler", they're completely lost on what good or even great is. All they have to do is see someone do a bunch of acrobatic shyt and they make it out to be the end-all be-all. Also, people just like to say shyt. They were probably huge Rock fans but you know there's always gotta be the one kid in class at the pizza party that doesn't like pepperoni.

2001 and 2002 were his best years in the ring. He got better and better as the years went on. People remember 98/99 Rock where he didn't do as much.
2001 and 2002 were his peak years in my opinion. The more he transitioned into Hollywood the better he got in the ring, and on the mic.
