Ok, pause. This is the only person I do want to have conversations with frequently, my boyfriend. I don’t get how folks want to avoid talking to someone they’re dating/in a relationship with. If she’s someone you’re truing to build with, y’all need to talk, maybe not every day, but frequently.

We cool in person but on the phone about nothing when I’m doing something I need to do or is an interest
One thing I like is space. If I don’t feel like talking I I believe I shouldn’t have to unless it’s important. I’m not the chattiest person IRL because the conversations are usually fukking stale but I don’t mind doing them.
Most men imo, shouldn’t be chatty ass phone people. Get to the point or we can talk when I see you...
But I generally spend more time on the phone with her. I talk at least weekly to friends that are far for a couple hours or play online games so we talk anyway. So I make time, but don’t call me every day or every other day wanting 2 hour convos that shyt is annoying. Or don’t call me to ask me shyt (or for/to do shyt) when you can just text me.
Then people call me when they’re not busy but I am. I work nights, so generally I sleep days. I have school, I have other interests... I’m doing other people’s responsibilities (like taking my sister or nephew places)... aka my time is limited.
