My mom's side is multiracial and there are a few who have dark skin but have white parents. Unlike my other fam members, no one ever asks them if they are mixed, they just assume they are full black because they are dark. But my dad who could pass for white, is always asked what he is mixed with even though he is full black. That is what I was talking about. I don't subscribe to these beliefs of black having a limit because I come from a family that is very diverse.

I know that. I'm using the term in the general sense. His dad was Native American.

I know my dad is full black because his parents and his grandparents are black. And yes, I know that some African Americans are mixed, but trust me, I highly doubt my dad is mixed.
