20 miles outside of a major or popular city does not give you the right to claim it. Claim the metro area atleast. If I’m from Towson, MD I’m not claiming Baltimore. You can slide with Metro Baltimore or Baltimore area. But these people would straight up claim the city like they spent most their lives there lol

Gucci Mane left Bessemer, AL at 9 years old then went to East Atlanta.
Usher from Chat Town in Tennessee. Idk why people think he’s from ATL.
Lil Bow Wow is from Columbus and always claims it but people still think he’s ATL
Andre 3000 from East Point, GA and Big Boi from Savannah
UGK always claimed Port Arthur, Texas.

LA is deferent because Compton, Long Beach, and Inglewood are not in LA city limits but the county is the same name as the city. So technically all of the surrounding LA cities is in fact Los Angeles.
