it is rich.

Think about that.....lets say a husband and wife each make $125,000/year....you wouldnt consider that to be rich?

If you have 2 people in your household making 6 figures, you're rich IMO. Hell alot of times, if a husband is making 6 figs, the wife will stay home and raise the kids b/c they can afford it

Unless you living in Manhattan, San Francisco, Downtown DC, or LA. Bot otherwise, yeah, they rich

Like I have already stated emphatically before: the government has been hijacked through pumping money into elections, lobbying, infiltrating, bribing and giving politicians future jobs. The government here acts as a middle man that occasionally acts on the side of the people if the outrage is severe enough. The private sector wants to do away with the middle man period so they can install their modern day serfdom.

That is why I hate the top 1% that has stupid amounts of wealth and refuse to pay their fair share.

I dont know if its that simple brehs

In any major city, a decent house is gonna be like 300-400K. Rule of thumb is your income should be at least 1/3 the cost of the house. So the family is covered that way. But then they have to save for retirement, their kids' education... general activities etc. 250K/yr is good money for sure but if you are responsible you wont be living like Puff Daddy. Shiiiiiit my in laws make like 1/2 what me n wifey make and they drive newer cars and live in better houses than we do... but their money is all fukked up

The most progressive areas of the nation are the most expensive to live...:mjpls:

its completely coincidence though... :mjpls:

Any liberal first-world nation is expensive to live in. Look @ Japan, the UK, Germany, and so on. Unlike America, they have jobs readily available and have universal healthcare.

80 percent of the wealth in America is tied up among the rich. They're obviously greedy.
The problem isnt "greed", if it was we would have seen this sort of inequality from the start... unless you are suggesting Americans just got greedy in the last decade, in 2011 in particular?:mjpls:

Wealth and issues surrounding taxes have been an issue in America since the the American revolution. Once all the capital in America was locked up by the elite, it was a wrap.

Sometimes I think they like to blame the rich for not paying enough instead of putting a microscope over how they're spending our tax dollars. The U.S. wastes trillions of dollars on whatever war we deem necessary each year being the global police force. We could put that money towards free healthcare and free college (and trade) education like every other developed country. Somebody made a thread the other day saying college could be free for all Americans for less than $65 Billion. We won't do that but, we'll spend a trillion dollars to invade Iraq and Syria.

I think all public universities (Penn State, UT-Austin, UVA, Michigan, etc. etc.) should free for in-state residents. The government should also institute a higher minimum wage (ideally, it should be even with productivity) and force companies to stop shipping jobs across seas. That has nothing to do with taxes. You can raise taxes on the rich too but, I think its more than that. I'm not disadvantaged because Jamie Dimon pays a 35% tax rate. I'm disadvantaged because I'm $40,000 in the hole for a piece of paper and its still not a guarantee you'll get a job after graduation.

If you can afford to take your family to disneyland AND you don't live in LA then you're rich... :manny:

I know we're 100+ post in but what is rich?

Sounds like you're defining anyone who makes/has more money than you do as "rich."
