There’s a huge problem in our community with glamorizing a certain lifestyle and if you say anything about it you’re an agent, a cac, a square, or a loser. There needs to be a collective paradigm shift in the community but I don’t think that’s going to happen. What’s even worse is that, we think that there’s nothing wrong with it. I was on LSA lurking the other day and they were talking about Michael B Jordan saying that he doesn’t like black women because he said he likes to be able to feel his hand run through woman’s hair. Meaning, he’s against black women because of that. They didn’t think it could be that he prefers a woman that just wears her natural hair.Or getting mad at the professor at the HBCU that didn’t want students coming in twerking and wearing certain attire. It’s real bad when you yourself look at your community in a certain light and uphold those views.
