Why do people hate on Saint's Row the Third

I liked Saints Row 3 but I can see how people might be turned off by the goofiness

I enjoyed part 3 also, game is just pure ridiculous fukkery from beginning to end. Once you start nitpicking on the glitches/physics, then... I can see how people may not like it.

And I'm a big GTA fan like anyone else but I always found Saints Row 2 to be more fun that GTAIV. Not talking graphics/overall polish/etc. just pure fun factor. The activities especially

The second one was better story wise. But 3 had some of the best voice acting and dialouge I've ever heard for a black character in a video game. I only played with the black character default voice so I can't say how good the other voices are but sh!t was on point. The way Pierce talked, it didn't sound forced. It sounded like how my boys talk.
