I remember following various live threads on various sites for Tidal when they were first having that conference, just abut everyone was interested in it and willing to give it a chance, but once they actually started talking about what it entailed in conjunction with their terrible hyperbole and marketing it pushed people away, including me (and Jay's my favorite rapper, and i'll probably be getting a Tidal accoutn once I get a credit card), and that's without the misinformation.

Yea, like others already said, it was the rollout. One thing that doesn't work in tech in pretentiousness, like you can't get the biggest, most lucrative names in music taking my about they're fighting for more money and advertise the $20/month option. That in addition to threads like this who act like because jay z owns it you need to automatically buy in. People gonna use what they want to - illegal downloads to streaming to copping cd's, let people live.

Tidal is about music not technology.

Yeah. In theory, there shouldn't be a single song or album that is on Apple, Google, Spotify, Deezer, Pandora that isn't on Tidal, otherwise you ask them and they normally do it within a day or two. Now, the exclusives and other Tidal initiatives (Tidal Discovery) over time will dictate that it has a bigger and better catalog than the rest of the services making it a no-Brainer. Stupid plants have one goal of misinforming ppl with incorrect nonsense; you'don't expect more support and knowledgeable ppl from the Coli but logic goes out the window when Jay Z is involved

Sounds like a lot has changed from day one. think I'll give it a 30 day go. It won't hurt nothing. Jay was my favorite rapper for the longest. I wanted this to be great but heard so many bad things. Thanks
