You guys should read the book. It's After Hours by Edwin Torres. It's full of Carlito's wisdom about life, the street, women, friendship, justice, the poor/rich divide etc.
The plot is also a lot more complex, especially the street aspect.

I picked up the kindle version from Amazon. Best 10$ I ever spent as far as entertainment goes.
