I do that, too.
Like, "oh shyt, there's _______. Gotta keep it moving." Then they run up on you and you give them the surprised look like
Or if you make eye contact, you do nothing, they run up on you and you tell them, "I was wondering if that was you. It has been a long time. Didn't want to embarrass myself."
Exactly, and they know you are trying to ignore them. They try to stare you dont to make Eye contact. "I know MF see me." Then they go stand by the exit.
