Why do people act like everything that fakkit Derek Fisher does is game changing?

smh Fisher's bytchass is so fukkin' overrated with that game changing shyt. The LAkers were never able to to sign a really good PG because this dude didn't want to be a bench player, but now once he gets traded and bought out, he goes to a contender and now he wants to play off the bench because now its convenient? the dude has hit some clutch and nice shots, but it doesn't make it up for every PG getting there career highs against the Lakers because of Fisher's terrible defense and a liability to the Lakers and 16 years of shooting a three but always having his foot on the line and always being a long 2 pointer. The dude did some really good stuff with the Lakers, but people act like he was this great, essential, and very important part of the squad. and smh at the Horry hate, this dude's swag and not give a fukk attitude was on a whole 'nother level. He was a tough and a good defender that was never a liability to the Lakers and wherever he went, even though he might have not be one of the main guys, the dude was a winner, and hit big shots in every championship squad he was part of in the playoffs

Lol at Laker stans

Gettin mad at Fisher when he hits a clutch shot and it's not in purple and gold.

Also in basketball it's better to be great at one thing than ok at everything.

Fisher is a great shooter in the 4th, outside of the 03 debacle.

It's one topic I can actually agree with some Lakers fans on. He's fukking :trash:

Over the last few years, people are always saying "he's the ultimate team player, when he isn't good enough to start anymore, he'll gladly step down for the good of the team"

*Team tries to trade for Chris Paul*

*Reporter asks if he wants Chris Paul to come to the team*

"I like Chris personally..(politically correct rambling and posturing)......but from a personal competitive standpoint, I want to play as many minutes as I can and someone of his caliber coming in to play my position means I play less, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone and I think Chris would say the same thing" :wtf:

I don't know how he got away with saying that shyt. Lakers fans should have been calling into 710 asking the Lakers front office to amnesty his life.

If you leave anyone at a fishing hole long enough, they're going to catch a fish. It doesn't validate their position or their worth. No matter what Fisher does, there is someone else out there on the free agent market that could do better.

All you have to do is give this script to an average d-league player:

*On offense do not handle the ball. If you receive the ball, immediately stop, locate one of the ballhandlers and pass to him, and then jog down court and spot up in a corner

*If the ball is kicked to you when you are wide open, shoot the ball. Hope to make one out of every three shots. If a defender is closing, either pass out or pumpfake and hope for a bailout call

*On defense, attempt to guard the point guard and chase him around screens

*If a pick is set, do not try to go over or under it, just concede the points

*Run directly at the pick setter and put your head down and run into him and flail awkwardly and hope for a bailout call that negates the 2 points

*Rinse and repeat*

Is there anyone here that thinks that the average d league player will have trouble filling Fisher's shoes?
