Why do muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc reject WEED so VEHEMENTLY??

Real talk though, the Muslims that I met in college wouldn't hardly drink, but man did they love smoking that weed. My suite mates in the dorms were a Chinese kid and a Pakistani guy, and they were pretty much Harold and Kumar in real life.

We all know a Harold and Kumar from our college life, man. In my case, the Indian dude was the high strung one and the Asian dude was the laid back one.

Huh? Hash is easily available here in Pakistan and dirt cheap ($50 for 50 grams of the best stuff) and we smoke it in public parking lots etc. with any problems all the time.

Some of the biggest tokers I know are Muslims. They won't touch the drink, but they love the grass.

A muslim friend of mine told me that exactly. It's against the Quran to alter your mind voluntarely for this sole purpose. So, she doesn't drink nor smoke nor take psychoactive substances.

honestly it's a good policy in general I think. Except for some stuff like coffee or weed or regulated painkillers. 90% of the stuff out there can go very "wrong" for you
