That differs very much from place to place. Depends on where in the country you are as well. Country side in a lot of middle eastern countries have a little weed in between their normal crops. I saw that in Turkey and Lebanon. Wasn't considered a big deal.

more like what kinda question..? they don't vehemently reject weed. your country is the one that locks up huge portions of the population and busts down people's doors over it.
those places dont even let women walk around without being accompanied by a male

Real talk though, the Muslims that I met in college wouldn't hardly drink, but man did they love smoking that weed. My suite mates in the dorms were a Chinese kid and a Pakistani guy, and they were pretty much Harold and Kumar in real life.
