I see a lot of motherfukkers on the net suddenly acting like they're coloring experts now and have noticed this for years.:mjlol:
i thought the video was on point, but it is natural progression. everyone's a movie making expert these days. next they're gonna start dropping "gaffer" and "best boy" in conversation like they have any clue what those are. i liked when people were hype about Hateful Eight being released in that special format, like anyone who wasn't literally a cinephile camera operator had any fukkin clue what the difference was.

I sorta agree with the vid but I honestly never noticed it before like that. But like I said somewhere earlier, I mostly detest movies that OD on the colors.

Nah it's pretty obvious I feel, especially in Civil War and Ultron. Just has a bland clean look. Like UPN shows
I agree. Funny thing is Guardians of the Galaxy was the best looking film to me and he stated the same thing

I'll admit, when I saw the title of the video I was like:martin::camby:

But ion know...he kind of has a point :patrice:

The de-saturated colors work for some films (like Winter Soldier), but the ones that needed some extra pop (live Civil War) did look a little washed out.

Not to say I didn't enjoy Civil War, tho.

Why are so many dudes saying they have never heard this criticism before? People have been saying for years that marvel's movies look like crap. Its a pretty common complaint.

I've been saying it since at least Age of Ultron, that's a terrible looking movie. My jaw dropped in the opening scene with how shytty it looked.$250M and the film looks like that?

But the coloring/hue of a movie is extremely obvious to any viewer. You don't need to have a degree in film studies to be able to distinguish the coloring changes that editors add in post. The colors in Ultron vs colors in BvS vs colors in Civil War shouldn't be hard to tell apart even to the untrained eye.
