However Japan has always been welcome to Black people and Black culture. My homeboy lived there for 10 years and dude came back here. He left the states like 2 months after. He missed the life and the people. Dude said he was in those streets chilling and nobody bothered him. He had lotta friends that would even cook and invite him over.

The same way a black kid from Brooklyn will have a different childhood than a black kid from Alabama

Hip-hop culture is big in Japan with the under 40 crowd. Also having been to Japan, the Japanese are friendly or at worst cordial with Black people, if you visit they will treat pretty well. They just don't much frame of reference being so insular.
