i own one gun for home defense and any time i try to learn gun stuff in forums, some supercac shows up and calls me a p*ssy for not having a gun the size of my arm and an entire vault full of assault rifles and ammo

obsessive people ruin shyt for me. im a musician and i hate when some fakkit wants to start a dikk measuring contest over gear. dumbasses like that do fuel an industry, though. they're the dumbasses paying 10 grand for a guitar that cost the company $15 to manufacture.
you just mad you can't get your maschine mk1 to be compatible with your emagic DAW :heh: :umad:

Lot of gun fans are devoid of an actual personality. They know that purchasing things doesn't actually equate to being unique, but they don't want to do the effort of talking to different kinds of people, trying different things in life, and developing a distinct personality forged by various life experiences and values they picked up along the way.

America is a nation obsessed with shortcuts. The country was literally built using slave labor. Getting another person to do something you don't want to do and at minimal financial cost to you is the American way. So instead of trying to become an actually interesting person, they would rather regurgitate marketing material and seek to emulate images of masculinity that are completely fabricated by guys who don't really understand the spectrum of masculinity. They just settle for images that connote aggression and think "good enough".

There are gun enthusiasts who never bring it up unless it arrives organically in conversation. They don't make one thing their entire personality.

Yeah it's dumb as hell. Same with nikkas that open carry.

yea open carry is nuts; when I first seen it I tripped out. but not for nothing its like out of shape people at Walmart. I'm not sure what goes thru their minds when they do this.

it puts them at a huge disadvantage :manny:

People read too much into it.

People treat guns like toys. And they behave with their prized toys like any other prized possession.

People show off nice cars.
People show off jewelry
People show off fancy clothes.
Gun owners show off their guns.

Not too hard to peep the logic.

Gun owners just need to be more honest about it. too many of them try to push the argument that they own because its a right, or because they want to protect their rights. or that it is a necessity for safety.
But they don't rep other rights like that, and most of them will never need to use their gun in self defense

Yes

In fact sometimes they combine the two. I've seen people bedazzle their guns with gold and diamonds.
You telling me they not trying to flex? It is entirely the same thing.
