"Purple" Black women aren't even common in the United States. And even attractive Black women like Kelly Rowland and Gabrielle Union claimed to be insecure when around light skinned women.

When 'winning' is convincing people of the truth of a generalization of millions of people its impossible to win.
Women with no curves are generally less attractive than women with curves regardless of complexion. Leslie jones wouldn't be seen as attractive by most regardless of her complexion.
Regarding the thread, both arguments are right. Attractive dark skinned women don't have problems attracting men but colorism is a real thing at the same time. An attractive lighter skinned woman will be privileged in this society over an equally attractive darker skinned woman. Now to me, the privilege seems kind of small but it does exist.
