I think with the height of social media, so much media in general, it’s easy for people this generation to feel drowned out

You look back and see this attitude of “I will work hard and change my situation”

Now, it’s hard to see the forest from the trees. Existence for a lot of young people just seems bleak. Survive til tomorrow and hope that if a car hits me it takes me out.

Planet dying, jobs ain’t paying, and these old motherfukkers who got to live their prime years off the fat of the land won’t let anyone but their kids up to do the same

Everyone’s life has a unique set things that make it seem shytty

Boomers had a thriving middle class. Thriving housing and factory jobs. Jobs they could get at 18-20 fresh out of high school with little experience. They had crazy purchasing power. Owned homes, cars. Many of them got to power positions, whether at the local factory, or local gov. and stayed there for years and didn't wanna give anyone else a chance. As they got older they didn't want younger generations to have what they had. The whole boomer sh*t is deep.
Last part is a lie and makes zero sense

You say that as if Baby Boomers collectively got together to shyt on their own descendants who they did everything in their lifetime for

You can still get jobs making good money out of high school, some nikkas is just too entitled to get their hands dirty and laugh at the votech nikkas that leave high school with a trade instead of a college acceptance letter

Y’all gotta stop taking these myths as reality

Never met a nikka in my life who be like “I hate boomers”

Matter of fact this is the type convo that really only happen on the internet

Some of our mentors, grandparents, teachers, coaches are all “boomers”

Everyone criticizes everyone

Gen Z literally created an entire meme around mocking boomers.

"Ok boomer"

Not sure how you missed that.

And "it only happens on the internet" doesn't make sense in 2023. Everyone is on the internet. Like I said, cats were shytting on boomers in the mid 90's. Nobody had internet back then.

So what you're saying is, you'd rather just do something harder that pays you less and puts more wear and tear on your body. Got it.

Real spit, you're coming off like that one obnoxious friend who's a huge NBA fan and has to tell all his boys on a Sunday in the fall why basketball is just as much a physical and contact sport as football when they all get together for NFL games.

Comedian George Carlin had a famous stand up where he went in on boomers, I think that was back in the 90's.

White millennials and Gen Z are about to become recipients of the largest wealth transfer in the history of this country when their parents die. Their black counterparts won't have this luxury because of the wealth their black Boomer and Gen X parents were locked out from.
And when it happens, real estate markets across the US are going to get distorted to all hell when these folks cash out the house and move to places they really want to live in. We saw the preview of this when covid hit and folks moved to other markets.

:dahell:

Bro it's real crazy to me that people are commenting on the difficulty level of jobs they couldn't get if they tried their hardest and trying to say their factory jobs anyone could do (and most people have done) are somehow more challenging. Fohhhh.

And who is making and/or reacting to that meme? Robots? :dahell:

Are we in "The Matrix"? :dahell:
Cats talking about the internet like it's Narnia or Middle Earth or some shyt. :mjlol:

99% of Americans aged 19-29 use the internet. 30-49 is 98%. 50-64 is 96%.

So yes, everyone is on the internet. What year do you think it is? :what:

Its back, since nobody wants to work. Those same public transportation jobs with full benefits are available now, but nobody wants them. Those same mail carrier jobs are available, with benefits. I got a list of available jobs that I pass along to the teens/young adults i know. I talk to them a couple weeks later, they still haven't applied.
I see this at my job now. State government jobs paying folks to sit behind a desk with great benefits and a pension that starts to kick in after 10 years and people be turning these jobs down if it’s not full time wfh
