Boomers were drafted to Vietnam because opportunity and resources were so plentiful they couldn't get enough people to sign up for the military.“Boomers” had to fight in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam plus built America into the Nation it is today
fukk them kids
My father had fake insurance with some white coworkers from the 90s and early 2000s,Breh you can't get no job now with no kinda back ground check or history.
I'm talking an era prior to the internet vs now.
The internet alone made jobs harder to get because it necessitated keeping files. Online applications, online "training", etc.
Fred.
Your point?Boomers were drafted to Vietnam because opportunity and resources were so plentiful they couldn't get enough people to sign up for the military.
There will never be a draft as long as we live because there will never be a military shortage due to the current economic landscape.
And are lazy, spoiled, entitled and act like they're the ones that built this shyt.Cac Boomers on the other hand have ruined this country.
The topic of them having it easier. We live in a time where economic conditions are so bad the military is filled up.Your point?
They ain't shyt. Lowkey the most sensitive group of people too, but the main ones calling everyone else sensitive. And are lazy, spoiled, entitled and act like they're the ones that built this shyt.
A fair comparison would be the physical labor and dangers of working certain construction where u DO have to use ur brain or it could mean life or death. There's little things we enjoy everyday that people have to have the balls and and will to physically do. I'm a repair tech currently. I was in corporate sales management for years. And while that shyt was definitely stressful. Scheduling. Planning. Marketing. Meeting deadlines. Customer development and Salesforce. Long hours. Always getting calls even at home. Etc etc. I still would choose that over the hardest labor shyt I've done. What i do now is the easiest shyt I've ever done tho. What mental labor do you do in your day to day that makes you say this? I just told you what I do (SWE) and you said it's unfair to comparing it to working in a packaging plant. What's a fair comparison?
Economic conditions for Black Americans haven’t changed since slavery timesThe topic of them having it easier. We live in a time where economic conditions are so bad the military is filled up.
This was unheard of in their era. Jobs were so plentiful and affordable housing was abundant.
And you know what, I agree. The high end pole workers and whatnot who every day could really die from a small mistake do have a much tougher job than me.A fair comparison would be the physical labor and dangers of working certain construction where u DO have to use ur brain or it could mean life or death. There's little things we enjoy everyday that people have to have the balls and and will to physically do. I'm a repair tech currently. I was in corporate sales management for years.
