This is what I said when I realised Kanye is putting Skrillex on his album. Like he needs to chase the extra few fans he might receive or sales when he puts a dubstep DJ on his album.

I dont think he's chasing fans at all. There were hints of dubstep on WTT and ye is into a lot of techno & house shyt.

I mean, the history have spoken it. Both of them did nothing wrong, both of them know. I can see why Jay-Z did this and I can see why Nas did this...however we still need them. Once, Nas and Jay-Z gone and the hip-hop shyt is over...trust me.

I am very positive that Nas glad Jay-Z stepped up for hip-hop and I'm very positive that Jay-Z glad Nas stays his true to hip-hop. The point is.....The Hip-Hop need them (Jay-Z and Nas). Once Jay-Z and Nas gone.....HIP-HOP IS DONE.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nas and Jay-Z would to do an album together before they retired.

Any person that thinks American Gangster is wack, or that Hov's verses on WTT were weak and unnecessary, can't be taken seriously.

I could understand if he was a starving artist and needed bread, but at this point Jay Z can pretty much make any type of music he wants to. Yet he still puts out music as if he needs a big commercial pop hit to keep the lights on.

Nas on the other hand, while certainly very successful and wealthy still doesn't have the capital that Jay possesses yet acts as if he doesn't give a fukk if his album sells one copy based on the singles he routinely releases.


Jay needs to just release another American Gangster type record with no pop songs. Just street gutter tracks with a few semi conscious joints like "Shiny Suit theory" that he did with Jay Electronica
