Why do Black people talk about money more than Whites do?

Yeah but why are we so frivolous with our money as a people is my question. We're the only poor race of people that are like that.
Because we're raised by women with bad values after our fathers abandoned us. What does a woman know about the proper values necessary to leave a great legacy behind. What does a dead beat father know about values that secure a family for generations. Nothing. What are women good at, spending money and trying to compete with the next bytch!

I just don't get it. nikkas talk about money all day and getting money and if it ain't about money then it ain't about shyt and I'm out here getting it and all that kind of talk while the Whites are on top and never discuss it. I've never heard one of my White friends bring up the fact they're getting money and I have some that are actually rich.

I don't remember where I've heard it from, but the phrases that come to mind are "old money vs new money"

Personally I wouldn't call it a black/white thing, because I've seen it on both sides...but when you are not accustomed to having money/wealth, its something you constantly aspire to get...furthermore when you actually come across it...you don't know how to act with it...hence "new money"
I will say this though, before I deleted my IG...there were at least 50 picture-gram posts a day about "making money or being a broke bytch who wastes time and aint about business" :russ:

mostly from black folk though:pachaha:

It's overcompensating for low self-esteem and the low standing we have in the world we live in.
It affects everything from the clothes we wear, jewellery we accessorise with, cars we drive, how we style/customise them to how much money we spend in the club. All of this to prove our "wealth".

The irony of it is that to become seriously wealthy we actually need to forego spending on bullshyt and practice frugality and sound financial decisions with a view to the long term. Part of it is our own doing and part of it is CACs' brilliance at marketing lifestyles and products to us leading to a number of us spending everything we have and living paycheck to paycheck, forever on the brink of collapse. New slaves indeed.

this.

I mean just try to wear some adidas and nikkas might be like :pachaha: look at this nikka can't afford J's. Meanwhile cacs are wearing beach flip flops to class and no one says anything.

We're a boasting culture despite being one of the struggling classes. so bizarre.
