Why do Afrocentrists keep perpetuating the myth that blacks were in the Americas before Columbus

That's what I said the first wave was Egypt and the Olmec heads aren't East African
:francis: thats not what you said...

But the whole theory is saying that Egyptians came here and were worshipped by the Olmecs. They didn't say west Africans so why would a Olmec head look west African
,

And egypt has the most extensive history of any civilization on the planet. Its foolish to think they had one phenotype considering it was the center of the old world for thousands of years. Meaning people migrated to and from Egypt all over Africa and Mediterranean. You keep mentioning east african features but the 25th dynasty was ruled by the Nubian Kushyte empire to the south in central africa. Also the helmet the Olmec statues wear looks strikingly like battle helmets from Egypt

i am confused, the continents were once pangea. then they separated, also scientists revealed that the oldest human being originated from Africa. wouldn't that make Native Americans technically Black or some type of Black phenotype ?

not trying to go against what you guys say, just asking a question.

I can't find any data to support this argument all I found was paintings of blacks that were painted after 1492.

There has never been any excavation of African skulls in large quantities that would make evidence that there were black villages

Natives in the jungles of the Americas have zero African DNA, so how were the Olmecs an African civilization.

All I was able to find was how the kingdoms of Mali might of said or not that they wanted to travel across the Atlantic. but that theory was debunked by professionals.
they came before columbus (book)

sorry I can't resist replying.

When did I say the Olmecs spoke spanish or named the heads themselves?

You didn't, and that's my point. The Olmecs didn't name the statue. Saying 'this 20th century american man looked at the statues feature and called it black! That means they must be black!' is kinda stupid.

According to this page
Olmec colossal heads - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

the first colossal head was found in 1945, by Matthew Stirling, an American man.

Also on the wikipedia page there is a list of all of the current Olmec heads and not one of them has the name "El Negro"(except this Olmecas - Dibujos, fotografías y recortes). Also I cannot find a source for the name El Negro, all I get is youtube video links. The only name I can find for that statue is Tres Zapotes Monument or Tres Zapotes Monument.

Are we even having the same conversation
probably not, I believe the only people that are black are SS Africans and Saharan Africans, while you seem to believe that any darkskinned people with wide noses and big lips are black.

And pointy noses and thin lips aren't exclusive to cacs but I can look at this neandrethal and tell he's a european cracker regardless, it has fukk all to do with simple features, its deeper than that

the difference between that and this is that cacs have and still inhabit that land.

Not Technically a "Doctor"
I don't trust the white man.

1 star... Afrocentrist are not the only ones perpetuating the pre-Columbian African theory, in fact a white man named Alexander von Wuthenau first theorized it.

Peter Martyr, who is noted as the"1st historian of America" wrote first hand accounts of seeing black people among natives while he was in central and south America.

Fray gregoria Garcia, a white priest from Spain spent a decade in Peru and he wrote 1st hand accounts of the black people there.

Before Columbus even came to America he had knowledge of Africans who had crossed the Atlantic via king don Juan of Portugal by the indigenous people of the Caribbean islands, again by first hand accounts. Not to mention Columbus wrote about seeing Africans in America himself.
:whoa:I trust these white men, tho.
