Oh I understand you, breh. But what I also need you to understand is that there is a certain level of poverty that is not even imaginable to you but still exists.Dude u just don't get it, and I understand because ur not black. Homeland as in the country u came from where most of the citizens there resemble u. A homeland is a country where U ARE NOT A MINORITY.
I grew up in Georgia/South Carolina and I will always call this place home, but as u know even with our numbers here in the south we are still a minority.
It's a spiritual thing. Yes we're all under white supremacy but damn as a black American we do get short changed when it comes to repping our "home" country. Alot of conflicted/ mixed emotions that I don't think anyone else can understand but us.
- Where women cant even afford an abortion and give birth to a child only to abandon it in the street or "pass it onto someone" who uses said child as their own personal maid/slave until it becomes an adult and moves on to just live in the streets of a 3rd world country where there are no homeless shelters and soup kitchen.
- Where over 70% of a population is illiterate.
- Where unemployment rate is in the 70%-80%s WHILE there is no "government assistance" or free schools for your kids or financial aid if you happen to be one of the few that finishes school.
