As someone whose both a stan of Pac and Nas this thread has me like :damn:

These are the two greatest rappers in the history of Hip Hop (Pac is the GOAT... nas isn't far behind) so this stan war is :ehh:

But it is entertaining to read though :pachaha: :ahh:

There both better than Jay Z though that's for sure :win:

But only thing **** got blown up cause it was on the album when in fact they had settled it but suge or who was in charge of the Mak album didnt delete it so real talk we shouldnt even be having this convo at all. Both them ****** was real dudes and handled thier beef like men is supposed to.

:childplease:

Pac went to highschool with a bunch of hipster cacs and "artistically open" negroes.

You think nikkas is getting their twinkle toes on in the hood ? :usure::huhldup::russ:

Pac came from the bottom and everything you hear on Me Against the World you can pull from news headlines nikka tf you mean lol...

Dont get me wrong. Pac rapped about his life. But his "Thug Life" sthickt he had going on in his later years was complete bullshyt. How you rapping bout Thug shyt, when in the years of most youngins being a thug, he was doing Shakespear. He is a classic example of a p*ssy nikka growing up, who wilds out in his early adulthood to cover his "less than favorable upbringing"

Deal with it :shaq:

I hate when nikkas pull that "pac was a ballerina in HS' shyt.

nikka in HS pac was living in one of the worst places in the country, and was probably one of the poorest kids in his neighborhood. nikka LIVED in the hood, grew up in that environment.

Meanwhile biggie wasnt allowed to leave his front porch until he was a teenager and grew up in a 7bedroom house :pachaha:

Pac wasn't a stan of anyone, if anything Pac is the most stanned rapper

:youngsabo:

nas.jpg

That's the way I see.If anything, Nas looked up to Pac.

Nas is one of those Afrocentric type of dudes.

Pac was that.He was born into the movement.Alll the people Nas read about like Assata Shakur...Geronimo Prat....Lumumba Shakur....Afeni etc etc...

Pac was raised and schooled by them.

That was Pac through and through. His mother was fighting for her life while she was pregnant with Pac.Facing 300 years in prison, she beat the case WITHOUT HAVING ANY LAW EXPERIENCE.She was held in the highest regard within the Black Panther Movement....The The Briar Patch:The Trial Of The Panther 21.

Nas is all on that revolutionary kick. He's a great lyricist, arguably the best of all time, but he didn't have the boldness or the "fire" that Pac had.Pac was the embodiment of that revolutionary shyt.He went through it....didn't have to read it in a book in order to be able to talk about it.

I think that's what Pac meant by the " this lil nikka think he live like me" line

I definitely think there was a mutual admiration there, but I'd be willing to bet that Nas respected Pac more than Pac respected Nas

The suburbs
I still dont get how pac was a fake thug tho lol. I could see if he grew up like biggie did, but he really grew up in the environment he talks about. The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucc Everybody
Thats what thug life was all about. Pac talked about REAL street shyt, and by real street shyt, stuff he SAW growing up. Whats so bad about a nikka from the hood talking about that :what:

I could see if he was spitting chief keef lines while going to an all white school, but yall are exagerrating
