Beating everyone up backstage, ripping the crowd (and calling them racist if they boo him), the comms, randomly interrupting matches ala Strowman, wrecking shyt backstage demanding to meet Vince/Hunter, calling them out and shyt. All leading to a world championship run

I assumed they called him up because Neville was injured at the time and they needed a healthy flippy guy. I do root for Apollo though, brother has talent... in the ring. I remember he did a cringe promo in NXT where he was supposed to come across as vengeful. I think he got beat up the episode before I don't remember by who, anyway he couldn't stop cheesing and looked goofy. I cooled off on him then, thought he needed to cook more, but he's getting main roster money so good for him.

He has everything you'd want in a Superstar. Great in the ring, great look, OK on the mic, but he just doesn't have a connection with the crowd. He got called up too early, tbh, he should've spent more time down in NXT because they actually HELP you become a crowd presence. He isn't over at all and he has to be for everything to work.
