The Red Pill/Manosphere isn't to blame, its an unfortunate refuge because there was no other positive environment for them in their general vicinity and grifters took advantage. Mainstream media and corporate America has obviously slanted for women over the past 15+ years, now it only an issue because those guys aren't partaking in inflating artificial GDP. Only a handful of guys like Scott Galloway have told some of the truth in recent years, but they're too late. Guys overdose on the Red Pill Rage content or get sucked into buying Pickup Artist 2.0 courses that they thought was a magic pill then get discouraged because the game has changed.

In particular to our race, young black men load up Tiktok/Youtube and see the worst of our women with pop the balloon crap, mainstream music calling them brokies. Way less positive black male role models in their general vicinity compared to other races. Then to even leave your parents house and for most men in their mid-late 20's to truly be confident and independent they need minimum 50k+ in most cities, and for what, to live in a 1 bedroom apartment, probably work two jobs (not remote, I am fortunate to have one but these are largely female dominated in Non-STEM as well and limited space). Then the $200-$300 you occasionally have left at the end of the month goes toward what, dating and trying to curate the perfect flex on social media?

A lot of the female Non STEM jobs pay well, like from 90k to 200k with lax work. Its the men that gotta be Tony Stark 2.0 just to get an office gig these days.

Society is failing them not the manosphere.
Right. The manosphere is just exploiting them.

One of the biggest things we can do to help young men out right now is to break the stigma around talking about mental health. There's still too much of a stigma around men asking for help or showing vulnerability. Changing that can be a start towards something better. People might think this is a joke, but therapy and group support really does help, especially with loneliness.

I know some people don't like this term, but 'toxic masculinity' is real and is harming a lot of young men. Too many men have a superficial understanding of what it means to be a man. It's not so simple as putting up a 'tough' front. Being open with how you feel and not hiding your emotions is an actual strength. It can help you to break free from isolation and promote mental well-being, and lead you to becoming more stable. A lot of people in those circles talk about stoicism, but don't really understand what it actually means.

As far as diverging career paths, a big part of it is that outdated gender roles just don't fit today. The role of a man has to change. Traditional jobs that used to be dominated by men, like manufacturing, are disappearing. Women have seemingly adapted better to the changing landscape, where young men have failed. It's not entirely their fault, either. They're still being sold the simple old idea of being *the* provider, getting a stable job, and taking care of their families. That still applies for some, but not in general. This is not an argument against 'traditional' families. It's about the single, lonely man who feel lost in this new world, and are removing themselves from it.

With education, we're going to have to start early. As Frederick Douglas said: "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."

That's not me advocating for writing people off as a lost cause. It's just saying we need to start early on in the formative years to nurture healthy, well-adjusted boys who become stable, productive men. We can start by making school and career paths more practical. The traditional college route is not for everyone, so why not offer more hands-on types of learning, like apprenticeships and trade programs? I know they helped me out a lot. There are also fields that were traditionally held by women, that are open to men, especially in healthcare. There's nothing effeminate about those jobs. That's another stigma that needs to be broken.

It's going to take a real effort to pull young men away from the redpill/manosphere mindsets, but I think it's possible. It's going to take people wanting to change too. We can focus on the well-being of men too w/o it harming women. Society just has to have the will to do it.

Its cause the economy outsourced all the traditional male-centric jobs like construction, factory work, and so on.
There are plenty of those jobs still. And even more trades jobs. Men largely aren’t applying for them because they aren’t qualified. So men aren’t going to school, aren’t joining the military and aren’t learning trades.

I see people say it’s about not wanting to be a “wage slave” but if that was the case why aren’t they learning trades or going to school. HVAC dudes are out here making a killing. Where’s the drive/ambition?

It's cause men focus on traditional work, instead of playing supply and demand.

Woman seem to just go where they can. never a shortage of female applicants for any position, but men will largely ignore certain types of roles.

No wonder school shootings are skyrocketing. Bashing men has a breaking point, and people need to realize that if you teach anyone that their future is pointless, they will go scorched earth to end the structure.

Folks realized societies that don't put male agression to productive use get destroyed by those males. Whether it be a coup or self destruction.

Women go along to get a long which is why they get use as care takers of the system in place throughout history.

It would be one thing if modern society created new rules for the male female social construct but they have essentially said males have no purpose BUT To be extracted for labor and not even fake a benefit thus now things are crashing.

In the past when you sent boys to war to die there was at least promise of an incentive if you make it out alive.

Males are pushed to those by society. You rarely see societies pushing men to get educated even here all you see is "get a trade" them nikkas are shocked policitcs is flooded with women pushing gynocratic policy

This society is on the verge of fascism. If not Trump, it'll probably be someone smarter like Josh Hawley, or someone worse than him. But, that is the trajectory.
