Yeah I thought he was Mexican too until I looked him up on wikipedia back in the 2000s and saw he was Cuban. Like others have said he probably got a pass because he spent a good chunk of his career in Mexico and helped put on a little of Hispanic wrestlers in WCW.

Watching those videos that were posted I forgot how over he was in WCW.

When I was kid I legit thought this dude was really a Mexican but found out a few years ago looking at his wrestling page he was really Cuban.
