They were literally promoting the performance as controversial all day. Y'all act like Grammy execs weren't fully on board with what he planned to perform. They weren't mad at all and backlash in the form of Twitter eggs is superficial. Kendrick doesn't scare anyone.

There is a difference between a person being scared and a person being angered. Be scared of Kendrick Lamar breh :mjlol:

Act like the cac crowd was not angry breh

He's not from America so his fukking opinion is noid. Don't waste your time

:snoop:

That aside, claim to be vigilant about white supremacy but think it's only applicable to Americans, brehs

he said it here on top of a police car on the BET awards..

This is pretty much what it boils down to me. I have no horse in this race, im not a Lamar fan or a Lamar hater. He's just "ok" to me. Dope lyricist but theres MANY other rappers i prefer over him

WIth that said, i think the big picture is that Kendrick (and i THOUGHT all of us knew also) knows that the Grammy's is an award made BY whites FOR whites. The entire show is made with the white viewer in mind. Thats why he had no problem saying it on BET. I thought that we no longer cared about the Grammy's but i was wrong.

Ill take it a step further and say that its a reflection of hiphop itself. A reflection of who CONTROLS AND DICTATES hiphop. Not blacks. We dont control shyt. The white man and J*ws ultimately control what these rappers can say. Chief Keef can rap about shooting up playgrounds. Rick Ross and T.I can rap about flooding black communities with drugs. Young Thug can glamourize gang culture. Thats ok. But let a rapper bring attention to something that benefits white supremacy then its :whoa:

Yall need to wake up and see the big picture. I dont know if Kendrick is "fake" or not, but i will say that he's doing what he needs to do to not bite the hands that feeds him. Until WE take back control of hiphop then just enjoy the music as "just entertainment" like yall claim it is:yeshrug:

I saw a powerful performance. Yeh he self censored that po po line, but that may have been calculated to avoid giving the obvious race trolls ammunition to deflect from the point of his overall performance. You see how they went in on him at the BET Awards, who knew Fox news anchors even watched BET?

I thought the amplified sound of the chains clinking over the grammys was some powerful shyt. We still make up the majority of the jail population in this country. Those Blacker the Berry lyrics are plenty confrontational... I saw them pan over the audience and them cacs was TIGHT don't get it fukked up haha

If you wanna nitpick that omission about the po pos then feel free, I thought he could have said it, but I can understand from a performance standpoint this being the biggest stage him not wanting the fraud media to take that line and detract from his shine... I will say Pac would have said it tho definitely :pachaha:

It is strange that the same line that race trolls would have focused on is the line booth posters are focused on, even by it's omission :sas2:

U can tell who's the unkempt dusty nikka. Id rather have my lil siblings know Kendrick lyrics than any other mainstream rapper not name J.Cole and Wale...

:what: Strawman. I actually don't mind his music.

The point is that he is a much safer artist than people are making him out to be.

How does "Black Lives Matter" get re-purposed as a "Cop Killer" "Terrorist" organization? How do white people get away with comparing the Black Panthers with the KKK?

It's called deflection. Ignoring the big picture and focusing on some minor detail to derail a movement. I'm not the biggest fan of Kendrick but I keep it a buck about music and he makes good thought provoking music. He deserves the credit he's getting.

Like eating a home cooked meal vs grabbing Mickey Dees. Once again, him saying he hate popos at the grammies aint gonna change none of you bytch ass opinions about him anyway. Same nikkas calling him "Hotep" and "fake" would still find something stupid to latch on to. But ima let u finish:yeshrug:

I have zero interest in the Grammys.

Having said that I'm :dead: at "K Dot's performance was OK'ed by white folks, he doesn't really scare white people like Pac".

Who the fukk do you think was signing off on Pac's albums? Or "Death Certificate" for that matter?

I'm not trying to equate him to them but the fact of the matter is anything "scary" to white folks back in the day was signed off by white folks, too. The sole reason the music shifted is because white people figured out you could make money off rap without constantly being called a white devil.

So it becomes a question of would you rather shyt like "Alright" be pushed by "the machine"....or something else?

Fred.
