The 7th Day Theory album is amazing!

That shyt is deep on so many levels

Imagine what Pac was going thru when he made Hail Mary

That recording session must have been lit

Given the Death Row mythos, I'd like to imagine artists and producers were allowed to churn out music in there without the pressure of being bullied, beaten up and/or peed on.
Of course if something knocking comes out of there, nyggas might get debo'd off a song, or jerked out of credits, but that's another story lol

Well their was a time when in the industry their was a such thing as artist and development and labels would pay money to get an artist with producers and others and develop their style and abilities. They would even have producers who were mentored by others who thought they had potential. This now a days is obsolete but that's how it once was when labels were getting huge million dollar budgets and doing things like shooting videos that cost over a million dollars just because it was fly lol. That is over because with the internet the labels could see who has it and sign them in hopes they can do it again and they don't develop them because it costs money.

Many labels would even have studios where their b-grade artist would record out of and the primere artist would record in the good studio room. This was not uncommon actually.

Given the Death Row mythos, I'd like to imagine artists and producers were allowed to churn out music in there without the pressure of being bullied, beaten up and/or peed on.

A lot of them death row singers like Michel'le, Jewel and Nanci Fletcher had to fight for their credits. Their voices was on a lot of records but they didn't get the dough they should have for it.

Death Row was crazy like that lol.

This track's really the culminating point of the album

Not another Hip Hop track like it.Pac had the gift of tongues right there. That's when you don't even have to think of it.Something divine's being channeled through you.Hold Ya Head is a spiritual experience.
